Dan was drafted in the second round in June 1970 by the California Angels and made his Major League debut in
1975. Dan has 17 years professional baseball experience, playing in the
Major Leagues with the California Angels, Cleveland Indians, Montreal Expos, San Diego Padres and the Chicago Cubs. He played two years in Japan with the Yakult Swallows. He also served as the head coach at Denison University for 10 years. |

Pitching
John was drafted in 1974 by the New York Mets and made his Major League debut September 15, 1977 vs. the Philadelphia Phillies. He played 15 years both in the American and National Leagues for the New York Yankees, New York Mets, San Diego Padres, Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers and in Japan with the Tokyo Giants.
